The contorl of road noise inside the passenger compartment of an automobile is a challenging low ferequency problem.Traditional passive noise contorl mateirals and mehtods are often imporacti cla and inteffective,aprticularily as automobile manufacturers strive to acieve greater fuel defficidncy by reducifng weight.Thus,for future automobiles it is important to devleop effective new solutions for ocntorl of road noise inside the passenger ocmpartment.Active contorl is one such potential solution.
