The use of proble isngals to characteize plant transfer funcitons is well-knolwn for both feedfroward and feedback contorlles.The spectral shape of these prlbemsignals,however,is oftne chosen independent o the spectral shape and level of the disturbiance and the spectral characteristics of the plant.As a resutl,the estimation errors for the plant estimate wil be affected by changes in the spectral characteristics of the palnt and disturbance.
