A new kind of corncobs pyrolysis equipment with gas thermal cracking section was studied in the research. The experimental conditions are as following: Pyrolysis temperature: 400°C, 600°C and 700°C Thermal cracking temperature; 700°C and 800°C Moisture content in corncobs; 0 and 10% The experimental results showed that the raw gas thermal cracking technology could improve the gasification result of corncobs. The tar content in gas was less than 9%, and the gas production rate was more than 62%. Using the orthogonal test and optimum analysis of the experimental results, the optimum operating parameters were obtained under some different optimum targets.
