Togo

摘要

Agriculture is the key sector of the Togolese economy. The agricultural industry permits the country to be self-sufficient in foodstuffs and constitutes 80% of national employment; more than 30% of the Gross National Product (GNP); and 50% of export income. Socioeconomic indicators for the Togolose economy are presented in Table 1, followed by production and consumption statistics for major food staples (Table 2). Togo is not self-sufficient in meat and fish products.
