The NASA Space Life Sciences Training Program: An Important Component of the Space Life Sciences Effort

The Space Life Scineces Training Program, SLSTP, is an undergraduate-level education and training program which has been held every summer since 1984 at the Kennedy Space Center. The principal goal of the program is to expose talented undergraduate science and engineering students to an intense team-oriented activity which introduces them to the wide variety of research areas that constitute the Space Life Sciences. It is hoped that these students, once introduced to the excitement of space science and engineering, will be attracted to careers that support the space program.
