RADIO NETWORK PLANNING FOR GSM-SYSTEMS WITH THE CAD-TOOL PEGASOS

摘要

This paper presents the planning procedure of PEGASOS,a CAD-tool for mobile radio network planning,with special emphasis on the planning methods for GSM-systems.The tool includes radio coverage prediction,neighbourhood planning,cell formation,interference analysis,frequency channel assignment and BSS parameter planning.Differences between planning methods for analogue and GSM-networks are introduced.
