The simulation of multipath fading with the channel impulse response function

摘要

Multipath fading is one of the most serious problem of radio wave pcopagation in mobile envixonment.Simulation of multipath fading is an important means of studying the channel of land mobile communication.This paper discusses the mathe marled model of multipath fading channel with the channel im pulse response function,and indicates that the function com pletely depends on five random variables.Being different from the traditional ones,the simulation method does not require any presumption on these five variables.The statistical characteris tics of the data produced by this simulation method is quite coin cidentai to that from the field test.The topic for further research is to"hardwarize"the simulation,it would be an economical choice to establish a multipath fading signal generator.
