The demand for broadband business access in the latter half of the 1990s: an analysis of the Toronto and North American markets

The Toronto and North American markets are analyzed for a network termination unit (NTU) to provide broadband business access in the latter half of the 1990s. A description of the market is presented from six independent viewpoints, together with estimates of the market size for public and private network NTUs and the NTU modularity in terms of the number of ports. The estimation is conducted in the form of a case analysis of the urban core of Toronto.
