Selective oxidation of propane to acrolein over supported MoV_(0.2)Te_(0.1)O_x catalysts has been investigated.It was found that supports affected the structure,reducibility and O_2-desorption behaviour of the catalysts,which were closely related to catalyst performance.Among the catalysts studied,MoV_(0.2)Te_(0.1)/SiO_2 showed the best performance for oxidation of propane to acrolein.
