A configuration for double input Z-source DC-DC converters

摘要

This paper proposes a double input DC-DC converter based on modified Z-source converter. In the proposed converter, the input DC voltage is boosted and obtains higher voltage gain with lower voltage stress of switch. Also, the converter operates with wide range of load and input DC voltage sources can deliver power to the DC load individually or simultaneously. Therefore, combination of a battery with one of the renewable energy sources such as PV can be used as input sources. In the paper, configuration of the proposed double input DC-DC converter is introduced and then, its operation principle is analyzed in detail. Finally, the simulation results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis.Keywords-DC-DC
