摘要

The digital method Building Information Modelling (BIM) offers a large potential for the construction industry. In addition to the three-dimensional geometry representation including derived visualizations, the key advantage of BIM is semantic object-based information management. A European case study verifies that failing communication and collaboration processes are the main impediment to BIM adoption. Furthermore, these processes remained nearly constant during the last years. One reason for this stagnation is a lack of usable and efficient information management and communication. To face these issues, the presented approach will sketch a natural model-based information management and collaboration workflow. The approach focuses on the standardisation of collaboration processes, data and issue management and their implementation into a Common Data Environment (CDE).
