Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) is one of additive manufacturing technologies that utilise laser beam fusion of powder layers to produce fully dense complex parts. Optimal process-parameters, scanning strategy, building direction and supports, etc. influence on density and performance of the LPBF objects. In this work Acoustic Emission (AE) of single tracks was studied to investigate the applicability AE for quality control during LPBF.
