Reliability is a significant measure for evaluating the performance of network, and fault diagnosis plays an inportant role in measuring the reliability of a multiprocessor system. Many scholars have proposed several diagnosic models, and the most popular one is the PMC diagnostic model. Under the PMC model, various types of diagnosability of multi-processor systems have been investigated. The h-extra conditional diagnosability, provided by Zhang et al. [22], is a new concept about the diagnosability of a multiprocessor system, which restricts that there are at least h+1 vertices in every component if removing the faulty set in a graph G, and the h-extra conditional diagnosability of a graph G is noted by t_h(G). In this article, we determine the h-extra conditional diagnosability of burnt pancake networks(denoted by BP_n) under the PMC model t_h (BP_n) = Κ_h(BP_n) + h, where 0 ≤ h ≤ 6, n ≥ 8.
