The Space Hardware Club at the University of Alabama in Huntsville began development of a Nitrous Oxide-Ethane Liquid Propelled Rocket in July 2017. As one of the most advanced rocketry projects taken on by the Club, it pushes the boundaries of the knowledge, capabilities, and management methods typical to the club. The project personnel consists of 6 technical subteams, a business and development team, and a system engineering working group. With final flight scheduled for Summer of 2019 at the Spaceport America Cup, the development schedule is compressed into two years.
