A WIDE DETAILED GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY OF OFFSHORE MAKASSAR STRAIT

Eni Indonesia is planning an Oil & Gas field development offshore Indonesia, within the Jangkrik field, located in the Makassar Strait, East of Kalimantan Island and in the Kutei Basin. The area is about 60-70km off the shoreline and will be connected to the shore by a rigid export trunk line in a water depth of maximum 100 meters. The field itself will be off the continental shelf limit, at about 150m water depth, to about 450m depth along the slope that extends towards water depths in excess of 1000m.
