1.1979 - Ontario Hydro and AECL enter into an agreement called CANDEV for share-funded research programs; operates as a division of Ontario Hydro 2.1984 - Hydro Quebec and New Brunswick Power enter the agreement and the program is re-named the CANDU Owners Group (COG) 3.1986 - KHNP (Korea) and NA-SA (Argentina) join COG 4.1989 - PAEC (Pakistan) and NPCIL (India) join COG 5.1991 - SNN (Romania) joins COG 6.1993 - Ontario Hydro dissolves Design and Construction Division to become primarily an operating company.
