WEBERSAT is a small, yet sophisticated satellite now available for experimental and educational use by interested groups and individuals. It is one of four "Microsats" developed by the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT), in cooperation with the Center for AeroSpace Technology (CAST)atWeberStateCollege. WEBERSAT was launched from Kourou, French Guyana aboard ESA's Ariane 40 vehicle on January 21,1990. It is WSC's second major satellite project, and involves undergraduate students, faculty, and industry advisors from many disciplines.
