摘要

The need for clean and reliable energy determined in the last decade the use of renewable energy sources. Except hydropower, wind energy has the largest value of installed capacity from all the renewable energy sources. High wind power penetration will have significant impact on system stability, security, and reliability due to fast fluctuation and unpredictable characteristics of wind speed. This is why new tools of large wind farms integration analysis are necessary. In this paper the analysis of large wind farm integration real power system using stochastic power flow approach is presented. The Western Romania power system is used as a case study.
