This paper explored the energy evaluation of the ecological footprint model application on project inputs, services, resources, issues and quantify the effectiveness of construction projects to define and quantify the problem and established a model to value the ecological footprint assessment of the ecological environment effect of construction projects, which is based on the study of energy theory and the theory of ecological footprint Then summarized the energy evaluation model of ecological footprint model's basic ideas and values, and further prospects of development of the ecological footprint model were forecasted.
