Using web service agents for mobile medical applications

摘要

A solution for using web services on mobile platforms is the use of mobile web service agents. These mobile agents act as mediators between the web service and the mobile client, simplifying the communication between the two parties and solving in this way the problem of the scarce computing resources that are available in the mobile environments. The paper presents the results of the analysis of such a solution, which was carried out on a real life application, designed for medical environments.
