Nord Stream establishes a baseline for offshore ILI programs

AS AN OPERATOR, Nord Stream AG offers gas transportation capacities of up to 55 billion cubic meters (approx. 2 trillion cubic feet) annually via its twin, 48" × 1,224 kilometre (760 miles) offshore pipeline system, which runs from Russia to Germany entirely subsea without intermitting pigging terminals or bypasses. For continuously monitoring the safe and efficient operation of this twin pipeline system in the Baltic Sea's ecologically sensitive environment, Nord Stream has established an effective integrity management program where the inline inspection project was awarded to the ROSEN Group.
