Using Reclaimed Municipal Wastewater for Power Plant Cooling and Process Water Systems

摘要

The reclamation of treated municipal wastewater for power plant cooling water systems is an important sustainability principle due to stresses being placed on aquatic habitat, potable water systems and consumptive use. This is in fact a triple bottom line advantage since reclaimed water that is recycled for power production is the definitive example of the energy-water nexus. This paper presents three case studies for reclaimed municipal wastewater for power plant cooling and process water systems.
