In wood industry, as the band saw blade is affected by the tension force of saw ring, centrifugal force, alternation bending force,cutting resistance, friction force, interior remnant stress, tensioned tensile and compress stress and thermal stress, it is easy to produce the non-uniform stress of promotion of teeth edge, tightness of saw back and slight tension of middle of saw thus to produce teeth edge vibration, instability and saw back chasm which can not finish the sawing task.This paper combines wood-working machine and tool cutting theory, material theory and mechanism dynamics and vibration theory with modern testing technology of light, electricity and thermo logy, studies and analyzes the vibration mechanism of band saw blade after tensioned treatment in order to supply theatrical basis for promoting the vigorous development of china wood industry. The system dynamic characteristics comprise natural frequency, damping ratio, dynamic rigidity, vibration type and stability. This paper focuses on the natural frequency theory of string structure affected by tensile force, board and beam structure affected by tensile and bending coupling effect and rod structure affected by tensile, bending and twisting effect so as to build model, calculate and analyze.
