Over 10,000-km recirculating measurement with frequency-coded coherent OTDR

We present the first demonstration of ultra-long distance measurement with frequency-coded coherent OTDR. The theoretically predicted performance was achieved by 40-frequency multiplexing at the far end of 10,400-km of fiber with 130 repeater spans.
