The setting up of titanium dioxide by t he chlorination process has become t he most import ant fabrication method for t he producers of titanium dioxide pigments. Past lining concepts based on standard materials w here discussed. According to t he special requirements in t his application a new brick w as designed. The better performance is described on t he analysis of t he structure composition and therefore some results for t he future development of lining materials is obtained.
