Opening Address

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the organizing committees and the international advisory committee, I would like to welcome all of you for joining us here for international symposium on Origin of Matter and Evolution of Galaxies, so called OMEG. And I thank you very much for your attendance, especially for coming long way to Osaka in this cold season. This symposium is a very unique one, covering very wide field from cosmology to astrophysics, and from nuclear physics to elementary particle physics. I hope you enjoy the wide view of physics related not only to your own part but also to a lot of different subjects presented by many other attendants.
