Choice of surveying methods for landslides monitoring

摘要

There are a lot of methods and equipments for landslides monitoring. In this paper,the existinglandslides monitoring technology,methods and equipments were introduced and then their advantages anddisadvantages were discussed. Finally,the principle how to choice an appropriate surveying method in landslidemonitoring were proposed. It is concluded that in all cases,measurements have to be made in terms of time,manpower and budget. The type of the landslide,the environmental conditions of the landslide,the expectedaccuracy and the professionals who use the deformation monitoring techniques are also the important factors tobe considered.
