OPTIMIZING SPECTRAL POWER DISTRIBUTION OF CAR HEADLAMP LIGHTING

摘要

There are very few investigations on best spectrum for mesopic visibility and even less data onthe spectrum of discomfort glare. We have studied these two perceptions and came to the conclusion, that it is not enough to optimise for the combined photopic and scotopic luminosity functions but the chromatic components have to be taken into consideration too. In this paper investigations to determine optimum SPD for mesopic conditions providing good visibility and low glare will be described.
