摘要

A boundary element method for the solution of static field problems, which are based on a Laplace equation, is considered. The matrix of the belonging linear system of equations is compressed with the fast multipole method. The solution of the problem is done in parallel to keep pace with current developments in computer technology. Here, a parallelization based on Cluster OpenMP is investigated. Cluster OpenMP is the latest standard for parallel high performance computing. It is an enhancement of the well-known OpenMP standard and enables multithreading on computer clusters.
