On a vectorial Preisach operator

In this paper, we give a formal construction of anew vectorial Preisach operator and demonstrate that it is a natural vectorial generalization of the scalar Preisach operator. A geometric representation allowing for easy visualization of the operator and its properties is presented. We will summarize some properties, which turn out to be in good qualitative agreement with physical reality. Finally, we give the simulation set up for a model with hysteresis, the results of which will be presented in the full paper.
