摘要

This paper presents an effective method for designand analysis of switched reluctance motors. The basic dimension of prototype is obtained from standards and empirical equations. A nonlinear analytical model which takes account of saturation effect is developed to calculate inductance and flux-linkage. To predict the performance, the flux-linkage curve is studied to calculate the co-energy increment for the optimum operation point. Also, a Matlab/Simulink based simulation model is developed based on the magnetic characteristics to study the drive performance.
