A356 alloy is used more in automotive industrial as automotive parts such as cylinder block, wheel etc. some features that are low density, high corrosion resistance, high strength etc. are reasons to be preferred for this alloy. It has a good mechanical properties when the heat treatment is done and casting process is carried out without any casting defects [1], Mechanical properties can be affected easily by casting defects such as porosity [2], Porosity is one of the most important defects to decrease properties of the alloy and it is formed by oxide films that are claimed by Dispinar and Campbell [3]. Degassing process is mostly used to clean liquid metal in order to produce cast part that has no any casting defect. On the other hand, mechanical properties can be arranged with microstructure of the alloy.
