Copper is one of more expensive and in short supply metals. This element is characterised by several valuable properties, due to which is widely applied in technique. Striving for the development of copper alloys, by improving their properties, is undertaken all the time. This is related to increasing their tensile and bending strength, improving plasticity and even their thermal resistance. Attempts to improve the corrosion resistance and to hold the high electrical conductivity are also undertaken. This type of improvements can be achieved in many ways, e.g. by the heat treatment, by the modification and also by the introduction of the proper alloying additions [1-3].
