This paper discusses the advantages of casting engine blocks with LFC, analyzes the prospects of casting engine blocks with LFC, and elaborates on a variety of pouring technologies, including body vertical tilt bottom pouring technique, horizontal side bottom pouring technique and vertical top pouring technique for the six-cylinder engine block, vertical side ladder pouring technique and a-box-of-two vertical top pouring technique for the four-cylinder engine block, etc.
