LCX (Leaky CoaX) cable is a coaxial cable that has the outer conductor with slots. It radiates the electromagnetic wave outside through these slots.As the wireless communication networks are expanded, the most territory is covered by using the antenna. However, in the electronic shadow area, such as the underground facility or the tunnel where the curve exists, the re-transmission of wave is necessary and the LCX cable is mainly used.In this paper, using the commercial electromagnetic simulator and T-parameter (scattering Transfer parameter), we predicted the attenuation (transmission loss) and the coupling loss of the LCX cable. Using this method, we designed the LCX cable on 855MHz band and compared the numerical simulations with the experiment results.
