Characterized Fragmentation of Neutral Carbohydrates Induced by Quartz-Tungsten-Halogen Light Prior to MALDI Mass Spectrometry

1.Simple QTH light induces abundant photofragmentation of solid MALDI samples for carbohydrate sequencing. 2.QTH light treatment can provide better mass resolution spectrum than those of ISD and PSD fragment process. 3.QTH light treatment can provide cross-ring cleavages information for carbohydrates. 4.Carbohydrate isomers can be identified through unique cross-ring fragments induced by QTH light.
