Venom proteome of Malaysian Bungarus candidus and Bungarus fasciatus

1. 18 different venom proteins families have been identified from the venom proteomes of Malaysian Bungarus candidus (BC) and Bungarus fasciatus (BF). 2. Differences in the neurotoxin composition of Malaysian krait venoms could be the reason for the absence of BC and BF monovalent antivenoms crossreactivity.
