The paper will review the original 500 t.p.h. Pardee Plant Circuitry (heavy media cyclone 2" X 1mm, spirals 1mm X 100#). The expansion of the plant to 750 t.p.h., due to increased mine production will be discussed, detailing equipment selection and size splits to the various circuits. A heavy media vessel circuit was installed to treat 5" X 1/2" material, with the cyclone circuit processing 1/2" X 1mm in the new plant. A prior upgrade of the spiral circuit (addition of compound spirals) allowed sufficient capacity for the increased plant feed rate. The justification for installation of the de-slime column flotation circuit will be briefly reviewed. Performance of the circuit arid plant throughput rates before and after the upgrade will be discussed. The project scheduling to minimize plant downtime and provide timely increased capacity will be reviewed in detail.
