TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENT IN CHINA RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FOR PV INDUSTRY AND MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN CHINA

摘要

China's stars are rising convincingly in the PV field. This concerns lately the national PV market (since 2008) but much more the Chinese PV industry development. Since 2004 an explosive and continuously successful development in the whole PV supply chain in China has been reported. In 2008 the World Bank/GEF China REDP project has been evaluated, showing the important role and impacts of the project in the development of the Chinese market and industry. Overall the REDP and the technology improvement activities have been very successful.
