摘要

The feasibility of routes to pattern coat titania for DSSC anodes that are compatible with roll-to-roll manufacturing on plastic substrates has been demonstrated. These include means to effectively direct the deposition of the titania coating suspension as well as means for more broadly applicable uniform coating of titania combined with selective pattern wise removal. In combination with this, methods have also been demonstrated for pressure sintering and rapid sensitisation that are appropriate for these materials and device fabrications. The work reported here was initially aimed at proof of concept rather than performance optimisation.
