A software tool to automate the calibration of sound calibrators is presented which includes the automatic estimation of measurement uncertainty. The tool is a virtual instrument, developed in LabVIEW, which uses several databases to store all the information needed to compute the uncertainty conforming to the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement. This information includes instruments specifications and calibration data.
