摘要

This paper presents an integrated voltage regulator in 0.8μm HV-BiCMOS technology for good load regulation and efficiency using an output NMOS pass device. The voltage regulator uses an inverting inter stage variable gain amplifier to adjust its gain in response to the load current passing through the output NMOS device such that as the load current increases the gain increases and a second pole associated with the voltage regulator is pushed above the unity gain frequency of the voltage regulator. With the proposed architecture a regulator has been fabricated and good loop stability across the wide range of load has been achieved.
