Application of the multi-fold GPR technology to detect hidden hazards in dam

摘要

Multi-fold technology is widely used in seismic reflection survey as a method of enhancing useful signal and suppressing noise interference, therefore it can increase the ratio of Signal/Noise(S/N)greatly. The authors of this paper bring it into GPR survey by carrying a number of comparison experiments and discussing the feasibility of applied in the hidden hazards detection in dam. Based on the experiment data, the authors summarize the GPR wave propagation discipline, the parameter of multi-fold survey and processing method. It proved that multi-fold method might be a useful attempt to enrich the GPR survey technology.
