摘要

CSAMT (controlled-source audio magnetotelluric) method is of a frequency domain sounding by using a controlled source. The method, though characterized by efficiency, high lateral resolution, weak shielding effect from resistive beds and moderate detection depth, In recent years, importance has been increasingly attached to CSAMT for geological structure explorations. In the deeper geological investigation for the pre-route selection of Lan-Xin railoway, the method has been successfully adopted for quickly mapping hidden fracture zones and structural framework, as well as geological stability assessment, so providing a basis for the railway route selection.
