To cope with Aero-engine Fault Diagnosis Expert System's low efficiency and accuracy, a new way to acquire fault knowledge, based on reliability data is put forward. An original model based on reliability data fuzzy semantic network (FFTF fuzzy semantic network) is structured and the form description of the fuzzy semantic network model is given. A solid fault knowledge representation method is also proposed, which is mainly based on FFTF fuzzy semantic network and generation rules of the engine fault shallow knowledge acquired from outfield. The information-combined diagnosis reasoning way based on synthetic information knowledge representation is raised, and the reliability analysis and diagnosis checking to the engine gas path components fault are given. The result shows that the theory and method are feasible.
