A Practical Approach to Sub-Salt Velocity Analysis Using Wave Equation Migration Scans

This paper describes the tools and methodology which we have developed for performing a sub-salt velocity analysis using wave equation migration scans. The paper describes the full processing, interpretation, and velocity updating sequence in very practical terms. Relevant figures are provided of the tools used to accomplish the analysis, along with data examples which have been produced using the method.
