The method for the estimation of ice load on the wall is elaborated taking into account cyclic scenario of ice pile buildup observed in ice tank experiments. The ratios between the sail and the keel in the moments of maximal ice loads on the wall are found for the conditions of the experiment and extended to the natural scales using the similitude by the Froude number. Maximal ice loads on wide structure in the natural conditions are estimated.
