AN EOQ MODEL FOR DETERIORATING ITEMS WITH EXPONENTIALLY TIME-VARYING SELLING PRICE

The problems solved by classical EOQ model are all the inventory problems neglected the variety of the selling price. Actually, the selling price varies dependent on some factors. Based on former research, the paper presents an inventory model for deteriorating items with exponentially time-varying selling price under stock dependent selling rate without backlogging, and proves the existence of optimal solution. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the model. The theoretical evidence is provided for the inventory management decision.
