摘要

The aim of this research were to establish and standardize a relatively easy, high sensitivity and high precision method to measure nicotine, cotinine and 3-hydroxycotinine (3-OH-cotinine) in the urine of passive smokers and to clarify the reliability of this method. And passive smoking model experiment was conducted using this analytical method. It was found that the assay lower limit is a level that can be used in passive smoking surveys. From the passive smoking model experiment, the deceases in nicotine/creatinine, cotinine/creatinine and 3-OH-cotinine/creatinine values in the urine for passive smoking were calculated using theoretical curves, the half-life times were calculated as 13.9 hours, 20.0 hours and 63.0 hours, respectively.
