摘要

The thermal performances of several kinds of shape-stabilized phase-change paraffin were studied experimentally in the paper. Shape-stabilized phase-change materials were composed of paraffin and high density polyethylene.Paraffins used in the experiment were n-Octadecane, n-Eicosane, and 48# paraffin. The phase change temperature,latent heat and the stability of shape-stabilized phase-change paraffin with different components were analyzed.The optimal mass fraction of paraffin required in the materials was discussed. The studies showed that the latent heat of shape-stabilized phase-change materials increase with the increasing of the contents of paraffin. The phase change temperatures of shape-stabilized phase-change materials are identical with paraffin. It is suitable that the mass fraction of paraffin required in the materials is from 60% to 85%. The results provide the basis for the application of shape-stabilized phase-change material in the building fields.
